There have been some stellar Neon Hitch remixes released over the last few months, thanks in large part to the fact that she happens to share a manager with some of the hottest up-and-coming production teams in the industry.

One of these teams – 1984, first introduced by us in November 2010 – has just come out with a truly refreshing remix of Hitch’s debut single, “Get Over U.”

Rather than serving up a predictable, accelerated, “dancified” remix, 1984 did just the opposite, slowing things down and using what sounds like a combination of Imogen Heap’s signature “Hide and Seek” vocal harmonizing effect and lots of dubstep to create a remix that almost sounds like an entirely new song. Download and stream it below! And if you haven’t heard the original version of “Get Over U” yet, or if you just need a refresher, check out the official music video to compare.
