ROBOPOP has produced a new version of Justin Nozuka‘s “Heartless.”

The original version of the song appeared on Nozuka’s album “You I Wind Land and Sea,” and was followed up by a bilingual version featuring Zaho as well as a remixed version.

The idea for the new, ROBOPOP-produced version came about after India.Arie caught Nozuka on “The Late Show with David Letterman.” Impressed, she publicly displayed her support for him on Twitter, and from there, the two began conversing on the social network and decided to join forces to create yet another version of “Heartless.”

In addition to featuring Arie, this new version differs from earlier versions by offering a fresh take on the instrumentation, all while maintaining Nozuka’s signature earthy sound.
