And in her latest video, Jessica Ashley does just that, upping the production value significantly from what we’re used to seeing on YouTube.

To achieve this, she teamed up with fellow NYU student (and aspiring filmmaker) Arnold Aldridge, who incorporated nighttime cityscape and projection effects into her video covering Lady GaGa’s “Born This Way,” giving it a professionally recorded, major label music video feel.
