Ambience has released seven new tracks, and in a departure from its prior releases, each one is an instrumental.

While this is a first for Ambience, its foray into the instrumental world is a completely natural one – underlying exotic rhythms and epic guitar pedal effects contribute largely to the band’s signature “world rock” sound, and these elements lend themselves perfectly to creating compelling instrumentals.

After a successful run promoting its last EP, “Never Alone,” the band has been on a bit of break as it searches for a new lead singer. Bassist Kayhan Golkar and guitarist Antrom Kury used this time to go back to their roots and experiment with new arrangements, and these instrumental tracks, which the two wrote, arranged, produced, and recorded entirely on their own, are the result of that project.

Some of the tracks are tropical and festive. Others are more rock-oriented. All have us convinced that Ambience could easily add film and TV scoring to its resume if it chooses to pursue this area furthes.
