Take note:

• New Born is the solo project of Kristina Clouthier. The project grew from an assignment that Clouthier, who is still in university, had for a sociology course. Tasked with submitting a creative response to the issues covered in the course, she chose to write a song dealing with mental health called “The Dark.” From there, a number of other socially conscious songs flowed out. She adopted the name New Born (an allusion to the idea of maintaining a state of uncorrupted innocence in today’s society) and recorded her recently-released debut EP, “Lost in the City.”
