RECORDING ARTIST JESSICA ASHLEY TEAMS WITH BET I PENNED IT MUSIC

Top producer/songwriter Sean Garrett joins emerging artist’s team

NYC-based recording artist, Jessica Ashley, and her record company, Nocturne Media, have teamed with Bet I Penned It Music to form Night Pen Media, a corporation jointly owned by chart-topping producer/songwriter, Sean Garrett, prominent NYC-based entertainment attorney, Johnny Woluewich, and entrepreneur John Hazlitt.

“Jessica Ashley is going to be one of the biggest names in pop music history,” says Sean Garrett. “She has a powerful voice and star presence that people will compare to some of the legendary artists that I’ve had hit songs with – like Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Beyonce. What Johnny & John have done to develop Jessica has been nothing short of amazing, having created a strong industry buzz, while having her work alongside some of the biggest executives and producers in music. What I hope to bring to the table is my sense of melody – to show her what it takes to craft a hit song.” “With the right songs, I know you will see Jessica selling out Madison Square Garden in record time,” he added.

A powerful force in the pop music scene, producer/songwriter Sean Garrett has produced an incredible fifteen number one singles in only seven years of producing music (for artists that include Beyonce, Whitney Houston, Nikki Minaj, Usher, and Chris Brown). Remarkably, that number puts him in fifth place on Billboard Magazine’s all-time list of producers with the most number one hits. Garrett is the only producer to achieve this measure of success in under a decade, and is also the only active producer that is mentioned on the list. Garret’s 2004 hit song “Yeah”, with Usher, Lil’ Jon, and Ludicris is currently the eleventh all-time best selling record in history. Garret is also a recording artist in his own right, having released the blockbuster, “Break-Up”, with Mario in 2009, and “Feel Love”, featuring Drake and J-Cole, which is currently climbing the charts.

Jessica Ashley, now only 18 years old, was discovered by Woluewich in 2008 on Youtube. Since their meeting, she has worked with some of the biggest names in today’s pop music scene, including Garrett, Sony producers Sham & Motesart (Willow Smith, Melonie Fiona, & Leona Lewis), and Alan N’glish (Taio Cruz & Cee-lo). This past year, Jessica wrote the song “Limbo,” which was picked up by Interscope Records as a single off multiple-platinum recording artist Jo-Jo’s upcoming album, “All I Want is Everything.”

In addition to her huge soulful voice, Jessica Ashley is also a talented pianist and composer, having been classically trained since the age of 4. She is also a fierce dancer, and has been recently working closely with celebrity choreographer Dana Alexa.

“I am so excited to have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from a superstar like Sean Garrett, while continuing my association with Johnny and John,” says Jessica Ashley. “I believe that I have one of the strongest teams around and that together, the sky is the limit!”

Look for Jessica Ashley to announce the label home for her project soon. In the meantime, check out Jessica Ashley at: www.jessicaashleymusic.com

All hype…I think she will be a successful songwriter…selling out msg will take some time…if it happens at all. Timbaland, Jermaine Dupri, they all have artists they work with too, dropping names does not mean you will be a superstar.

Sounds like your hatting, Proprs to Jessica Ashley, continue to do your thing, and good luck.
