Founded by Katie O’Halloran, I THINK I LOVE IT! was launched as a response to some of the most common shortcomings of A&R tip sites: The disregard for non-artist talent (songwriters, producers, DJs, etc.), the lack of actionable analysis…

In 2011, we joined forces with Coalition Entertainment (Finger Eleven, Our Lady Peace, Simple Plan) to highlight talent we’ve featured on the site to the company via showcases at its Toronto HQ, and you’ll often find us working with with the talent we feature to help make connections and further their careers in other ways that transcend simple blog coverage. Several artists and producers/songwriters we’ve featured have gone on to sign with major labels and publishers.

An alumni of the Berklee College of Music’s Music Business program, Katie was a regular music industry commentator for Artists House Music, has worked with various A&R consultancy firms, and most recently was part of EMI Music Publishing’s Canadian team. Her articles have been featured by Fuse TV, Hypebot, and The Music Industry Report. Tweet her at @KatieOHalloran.
